We7re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing technology team in Galway, working on the design, development and implementation of modern applications within a large-scale financial technology environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on AWS and backend development, offering the opportunity to work on scalable, production-grade applications while contributing to engineering excellence and technology innovation.
What Were Looking For
- Strong commercial experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Excellent experience with Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of Kafka and middleware technologies.
- Strong AWS experience and exposure to cloud-based application development.
- A strong focus on clean code, automated testing and maintainable software.
- Stronger backend expertise is preferred, with the role being approximately 80% backend / 20% frontend.
