Overview

As a Managed Service Provider, our team at Samsung SDS Europe Ltd is committed to elevating our application operations and driving expansion initiatives. We are currently in search of a proficient expert to join us as a Full-Stack C# Developer. This role mainly entails the development and maintenance of applications running various platforms, with a notable focus on backend frameworks and foundational security aspects. Moreover, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a thorough understanding of data structure, transformation, exchange, and algorithms. Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications for both new and existing projects.
• Ensure that your work aligns with company protocols, adheres to service level agreements, and meets deadlines consistently.
• Detect and execute system enhancements to fulfil business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on major projects, offering valuable expertise and guidance to ensure successful project completion.
• Demonstrate a willingness to acquire new skills and technologies.
• Some travel may be required.

Education

Applicants are required to hold a degree level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline, or possess equivalent experience.

Skills and Attributes

Essential

• Excellent C# programming, Full Stack Programmer (including .Net Core, .NET, WPF, XAML, Windows Forms, WEB/API, MVC, LINQ, Electron.NET, Visual Studio)
• Proficiency in front-end languages and libraries such as HTML/CSS, as well as JavaScript, and frameworks like Node.js
• Strong backend and server-side knowledge and experience
• In-depth understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and micro-service technologies
• Expertise in web server and WAS initial configuration, tuning, and deployment, including web security knowledge
• Advanced SQL Skills with experience handling large data volume in Oracle and MS SQL databases
• Creating and optimization of Oracle or MS SQL stored procedures
• Able to adapt or design DB Schema using referential integrity principles
• Technical proficiency in both Windows and Linux server environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Advantage

• PowerBuilder programming language experience

• Practical AWS or other cloud platform experience
• File I/F experience with large volume of channels (FTP, Web service, etc.)
• Jira, Jenkins and Git experience

Experience

8+ years of software development/system operation experience in a multinational organization. Experience in managing diverse stakeholder/client interests.

Hours of Work

The role entails a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. There may be potential requirements for weekends and evenings in case of emergencies and projects.
