We're partnering with an international financial services company to hire a Senior Software Engineer in Test for a brand-new team building performance measurement and analytics software that supports one of their strategic Wealth Management initiatives.
This is a genuinely engineering-focused SDET role where you'll work alongside software engineers to design scalable test automation for data-heavy applications.
What you'll be working on:
You’ll help build the quality strategy for a platform that processes large volumes of financial data, ensuring everything from ETL pipelines to reporting is accurate, reliable and production-ready.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Designing and building automated testing solutions for complex data pipelines
- Validating ETL processes and source-to-target transformations
- Writing code in Java or Python to create robust automation frameworks
- Working closely with developers in an Agile environment to embed quality throughout the SDLC
- Performing advanced SQL validation across Oracle and Snowflake databases
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and improving automated quality gates

You’ll probably be a good fit if you:
- Have several years' experience in Software Engineering in Test or Test Automation
- Enjoy solving data validation problems rather than purely UI automation
- Can confidently write code as part of your testing approach

- Like collaborating with developers and influencing engineering best practice
- Want to work on systems where quality, accuracy and automation genuinely matter
