<p><b>Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) (Senior Software Engineer) – Platform Implementation</b></p><p><b>Job Summary</b></p><p><b>We are looking for a technically strong and customer-oriented Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) to support the implementation, configuration, integration, and adoption of enterprise software platforms.</b></p><p><b>The FDE will work closely with Product, Business Analysts, Engineering, QA, and customer/project teams to onboard tenants, configure platform capabilities, validate integrations and data, troubleshoot implementation issues, and ensure successful go-live.</b></p><p><b>The role requires a combination of software engineering fundamentals, API/data skills, cloud awareness, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication.</b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Platform Implementation & Onboarding</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Lead and support tenant onboarding, platform configuration, environment readiness, and go-live activities.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Configure platform features based on approved business and implementation requirements.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Perform data mapping, data validation, and integration validation.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Support customer/project teams during implementation and post-go-live activities.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Create and maintain implementation and configuration documentation.</b></p><p><b>Integration & Technical Support</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Configure and validate REST APIs and third-party integrations.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Troubleshoot API, data, configuration, authentication, and environment-related issues.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Use SQL and other tools to validate data and investigate implementation issues.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Analyze application logs and coordinate with Engineering and Platform teams for issues requiring product-level changes.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Support authentication and access configuration, including SSO/AD-based integrations where applicable.</b></p><p><b>Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Participate in onboarding and implementation workshops with project/customer teams.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Understand implementation requirements and translate them into platform configuration and technical tasks.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Conduct product walkthroughs, technical demonstrations, and user enablement sessions.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Coordinate with Product, BA, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, and Security teams to resolve implementation dependencies.</b></p><p><b>Continuous Improvement</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Identify recurring onboarding challenges and recommend improvements.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Build reusable configurations, scripts, templates, and implementation assets.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Identify opportunities to automate manual onboarding activities.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on recurring customer requirements and platform gaps.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Help increase the percentage of onboarding activities completed without core engineering intervention.</b></p><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>3–6 years of experience in software engineering, implementation engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or a similar technical customer-facing role.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API testing tools such as Postman.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Good working knowledge of SQL and data validation.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Experience troubleshooting application, integration, and data-related issues.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Experience working with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Good understanding of authentication concepts such as OAuth, JWT, SSO, or AD.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly with customer/project teams.</b></p><p><b>Cloud & Platform Skills</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Basic working knowledge of AWS or another major cloud platform.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Understanding of services such as S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and basic networking concepts.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Understanding of application environments, configuration management, and deployment concepts.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.</b></p><p><b>Good to Have</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Python or JavaScript scripting experience.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Experience with BI/analytics platforms or data visualization tools.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Experience with data pipelines, ETL, or data warehouse concepts.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Experience with workflow automation platforms.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Experience supporting SaaS or multi-tenant enterprise applications.</b></p><p><b>•</b></p><p><b>Experience automating repetitive implementation/onboarding activities.</b></p><p><b>Qualification</b></p><p><b>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.</b></p>
