Intotest Senior Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in the full software development life cycle, from understanding machine specifications and customer requirements to software development, testing, commissioning, and final product release.
Develop, test, debug, maintain, and enhance machine software to ensure reliable operation and compliance with machine specifications and customer requirements.
Develop and integrate software modules for machine automation and control systems.
Ensure all developed software modules meet functional requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.
Troubleshoot software and machine-related issues and provide effective solutions.
Provide professional technical support for developed applications, both internally and at customer sites.
Collaborate with engineering and other relevant departments to ensure smooth integration of software with machine hardware and control systems.
Prepare and maintain relevant software documentation, technical specifications, and records.
Perform system testing, debugging, and performance optimisation as required.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers when necessary.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager/Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Intelligent Robotics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development, preferably in machine automation, industrial automation, or related industries.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in C++, C#, PLC Programming, Robot Programming, Turbo C, and GUI development.
Experience in machine control software, automation systems, or equipment integration will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of software development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting processes.
A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage tasks and meet project deadlines.
Able to work independently, take initiative, and effectively coordinate with internal departments and external parties.
