Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will support the research, deployment, and lifecycle management of AI-enabled solutions for industrial and manufacturing environments. The role focuses on evaluating emerging AI technologies, developing proof-of-concept solutions, and establishing reliable software deployment, testing, and release processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate AI and software solutions with industrial equipment while ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational readiness.

What you will do

• Evaluate emerging AI deployment and lifecycle-management technologies, focusing on their suitability for industrial use.
• Develop proof-of-concept implementations to validate selected technologies.
• Establish automated workflows for software/model packaging, version control and release management.
• Develop automated regression, reliability and deployment-verification tests for integrated software releases.
• Implement runtime monitoring, diagnostics and rollback mechanisms, and maintain traceable technical evidence.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in software development, MLOps, DevOps, automated testing or deployment of applications.
• Proficiency in Python / Rust and familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and software testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of machine or industrial-equipment software implementation, including equipment interfacing, machine data handling and integration testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical-documentation skills.
