Summary
Senior Software Engineer at a defence and search & rescue organisation near Lincoln, UK (hybrid), designing and developing code for technically complex defence solutions across the full development lifecycle. Requirements:- Strong foundational knowledge of C++ or C# and enthusiasm for learning
- Knowledge or experience with DevOps, GitHub, simulation, Unreal Engine or Unity, graphical languages such as OpenGL, WebGL or DirectX, and software development lifecycles and methodologies is relevant; expertise in every technology is not expected
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- UK nationality and at least five consecutive years of UK residency are required for government security vetting
- Take part in all stages of the process, from conception through completion and launch
