Senior Software Engineer, Java
Summary
Senior backend engineer designing and evolving Java/Spring Boot microservices on Kubernetes for a SaaS platform, focused on scalability, observability, and reducing technical debt.
Design, develop and evolve backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Participate in defining the architecture of new solutions and the evolution of the existing platform.
Evaluate technical trade-offs with respect to scalability, availability and maintainability.
Define and promote engineering and software development best practices.
Work to reduce technical debt and continuously modernize the platform.
Develop distributed solutions running on Kubernetes and following a microservices architecture.

Support technical reviews, provide mentorship and contribute to the engineering organization’s growth.
Requirements
- Experience with large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with Angular.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and performance optimization.
- Experience in cloud-native environments.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering practices (AI-Assisted Development, development agents, test generation and automation of the development lifecycle).
- Experience with SRE and DevOps practices.
