Senior Software Engineer (Java, SAP/PLM)

Responsibilities

• Write well structured, testable, efficient, reusable, maintainable and scalable code
• Collaborate with global teams to define, design, and develop cutting edge software applications using Java.
• Stay up to date with software technologies and methodologies

Requirements:

• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree/Diploma in computer science or a related field
• Strong understanding of software architecture, programming principles and design patterns in Java.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Junit, Gradle/Maven.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of one or more RDMS like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL.
• Experience with reverse engineering, AspectJ (AOP), or code injection techniques is a plus.
• Experience with SAP or PLM systems like Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia is a plus.
• Understanding one or more cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, Rancher is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of UNIX, shell scripting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated and ability to learn new technologies.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java development.
