The Role
Are you an experienced software engineer ready to take on a leadership role in a high-impact, fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a finance sector project on a 12-month contract, where you'll design robust software solutions, guide architectural decisions, and mentor the next generation of engineering talent.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions
- Lead technical planning and architecture decisions for software projects
- Mentor junior software engineers, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project objectives
- Implement best practices in software development and maintain documentation
- Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of systems
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a proven track record of successful projects
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Hands-on expertise with Springboot Microservices, SQL, Maven, and Github/Gitlab
- Experience with caching technologies (Hazelcast/Redis), Kafka, and Spring Cloud Gateway is highly advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
