What you'll be doing
- Designing, developing and maintaining scalable web applications across the front end and back end.
- Building responsive, user-friendly interfaces and robust backend services.
- Developing and integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
- Working with databases, data models and application architecture to deliver reliable solutions.
- Collaborating with product owners, designers and other engineers to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Contributing to code reviews, testing, debugging and continuous improvement.
- Helping shape technical decisions and ensuring applications are secure, maintainable and performant.
- Around 5 years of commercial software engineering experience, ideally across both front-end and back-end development.
- Strong experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Back-end development experience using technologies such as C#, .NET, Node.js, Java or Python.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and modern development practices.
- An understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
