Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin, AWS)

Your day to day:

• In your team, you will own the full product lifecycle for deployment, operating service and testing


• You will write Kotlin


• 30% involvement in frontend topics with TypeScript/ React


• Follow principles like "You build it, You run it" - (no on-call)


• Work on AWS services (CloudWatch, ECS, Fargate, Glue ETL, Quicksight, Athena, CDK, DataDog and many more


• Build & maintain microservices


• Support in designing and building CI/CD pipelines


• Follow DDD, pair programming and clean code


• Work in a cross-functional team alongside designers, testers, analysts and product owners

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)


• 3+ years of relevant professional work experience as a Software Engineer in the JVM environment (Kotlin experience is considered a plus)


• Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot 1-2, Microservices, Kafka, AWS, CI/CD, Docker, React, React Native, TypeScript, MySQL


• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies


• Team player, enjoys a collaborative culture, sharing ideas & testing new technology


• Good eye for clean code, understanding of DDD, CQRS etc.


• You speak fluent English
