Senior Software Engineer (Labview)
Summary
Senior Software Engineer develops and maintains automated test systems for manufacturing using LabVIEW, TestStand, and C#/C++/Python, while managing outsourced development projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain and enhance software for existing products and manufacturing systems.
· Troubleshoot production software issues, investigate failures, and drive corrective actions.
· Manage outsourced software development projects from design, development, validation, deployment, to maintenance.
· Design and develop automated manufacturing test solutions, including hardware integration and software programming.
· Perform system integration, debugging, optimization, and repeatability studies.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to improve testing strategies and deliver innovative solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in test engineering, test development, or manufacturing environments.
· Proficient in NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, C#, C++,and Python.
· Strong knowledge of industrial automation and automated test systems.
· Proven project management experience, including managing outsourced software vendors.
· Hands-on experience with test and measurement instrumentation and remote equipment control software.
· Strong SQL skills, including advanced queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
· Working knowledge of database administration (backup/recovery, replication, clustering, log shipping).
· Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
