What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices architecture
- Contribute to architecture and technical decision‑making across core platform systems
- Build and maintain cloud‑native applications in modern CI/CD environments
- Take ownership of products and features from concept through production
- Champion clean code, testing, maintainability, and engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with international engineering teams across Europe
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
What We’re Looking For
- 6–8+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience building production‑grade applications
- Strong experience building scalable backend systems and distributed architectures
- Passion for clean code, thoughtful system design, and long‑term maintainability
- Comfortable challenging business requirements and contributing technical ideas
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to thrive in autonomous teams
- Curious, collaborative, and excited by complex technical challenges
- Nice to Have: Kotlin or TypeScript experience
- Exposure to Angular or frontend technologies
- Experience with REST APIs and/or gRPC
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Elastic Stack
- Interest or experience in AI/ML technologies and modern AI‑driven development practices
