Senior Software Engineer Market Connectivity
- Maintaining existing legacy codebase for backend applications, specifically on the exchange connectivity side
- Engineering improvements and optimizations for existing performance and memory bottlenecks
- Improving or building tools and automated tests for existing markets / exchanges
- Occasionally maintaining frontend codebase for exchange / market related changes
- Work closely with other engineers to design and implement the changes.
- Substantial professional experience with >= C++17
- Proficiency with object-oriented design and development
- Proficiency with Linux at a systems-level for developing real-time software (lock-free and wait-free design patterns)
- Understanding of multi-threading and memory ordering concepts
- Understanding of low-latency network programming
- Experience with C++ template
- Experience with Python for developing tools and automated testing
- GDB coredump debugging experience
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools (Claude code)
- Experience with Javascript for Web / GUI / frontend development
- Familiarity with financial markets and exchange protocols (e.g. FIX)
- Experience with Valgrind, gprof, perf, or similar performance analysis tools
