Title and Summary

Senior Software Engineer

The Mastercard Digital Network Services team is involved in developing cutting-edge solutions to deliver the Next Generation of Core Payment Products for Mastercard. These cutting-edge solutions are built on the Digital Network Architecture, Cloud Native principles and in a Scaled Agile Framework.

The Role and Responsibilities :
* Design and implement automated test frameworks.
* Write automation code using Java and testing frameworks.
* Perform API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and define test strategies.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
* Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and improve overall product quality.
* Mentor junior engineers and promote quality engineering best practices.

Skills Expected
* Strong Java programming.
* Selenium or Playwright for UI automation.
* Knowledge on event driven application , Kafka and Cassandra
* API testing (REST Assured, Postman, SOAP UI).
* SQL and database testing.
* CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
* Git.
* BDD/TDD (Cucumber/JBehave).
* Microservices architecture.
* Agile/Scrum.
* Performance testing tools like JMeter (preferred).
* Strong Communicator
* Quick grasping and learning abilities
* Technical mentoring skills
