Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Java Application Specialist to join our Front-to-Back Trading Technology Team, delivering innovative solutions for Credit Derivatives and Interest Rate Derivatives workflows. You will develop mission-critical applications that enable real-time risk management, improve resiliency, and enhance DevOps/tooling ecosystems across the trading stack.

The role requires a mix of technical expertise, leadership in application development, and strong stakeholder collaboration to improve efficiency and modernize our technology landscape. • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development, building RESTful services and microservices
• Expertise in high-availability service architectures designed for performance and resiliency
• Solid experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or Sybase), with performance optimization knowledge
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools and models applied to software engineering efficiency
• Proven track record of owning and delivering Java-based modules or services in production environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with ability to handle pressure in mission-critical environments
• Passionate about technology: continuous learner, always exploring new tools and patterns
• Team player mindset with collaborative approach in a global, fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting under SLA
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD) workflows
• Domain knowledge in banking or financial trading systems
