Senior Software Engineer - .NET

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) who will build and maintain scalable applications, working alongside cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain applications utilizing C#, .NET Framework 4.x, and .NET Core
• Build backend services, REST APIs, and application components in line with coding standards and best practices
• Construct and sustain full stack applications, encompassing both frontend and backend elements
• Design and enhance database solutions leveraging Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and other relational or non-relational databases
• Implement object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices to produce maintainable and scalable applications
• Roll out and resolve issues with .NET Core applications within Linux-based environments
• Assist with application deployment and integration involving AWS services
• Author unit and integration tests, diagnose problems, and enhance application performance and reliability
• Partner with architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers to produce quality software solutions

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years programming experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.x
• Practical experience with .NET Core and building applications in Linux-based environments
• Background in REST APIs and backend application development
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and database design principles
• Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deploying applications
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to produce clean, reusable, and maintainable code
• Solid comprehension of application performance, scalability, and security
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have

• Background in microservices architecture and cloud-native application development
• Understanding of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools like Git
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience operating within Agile/Scrum development environments
