Senior Software Engineer - .NET

We're seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable applications and partner with cross-functional teams on delivering top-notch software products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications leveraging C#, .NET Framework 4.x, and .NET Core
• Create backend services, REST APIs, and application components that adhere to coding standards and best practices
• Construct and sustain full stack applications spanning both frontend and backend layers
• Design and fine-tune database solutions utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and other relational or non-relational databases
• Implement object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices to produce maintainable, scalable applications
• Roll out and debug .NET Core applications within Linux-based environments
• Assist with application deployment and integration across AWS services
• Create unit and integration tests, resolve issues, and enhance application performance and reliability
• Work alongside architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers to produce quality software solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in C# and .NET Framework 4.x
• Practical experience with .NET Core and building applications in Linux-based environments
• Background in REST APIs and backend application development
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and database design principles
• Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture
• Comfort with AWS cloud services and deploying applications
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to produce clean, reusable, and maintainable code
• Solid awareness of application performance, scalability, and security considerations
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have

• Background in microservices architecture and cloud-native application development
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools like Git
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• History of working within Agile/Scrum development environments
