Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a product engineering team and work on the modernization and scalability of a large-scale backend platform.
You’ll be working with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, microservices, and real-time data processing, helping migrate legacy components to modern, cloud-ready services.

What you’ll do
Develop and maintain containerized .NET Core microservices.
Build event-driven communication and streaming flows using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and MassTransit.
Design scalable solutions together with product and engineering teams.
Drive migration from legacy .NET Framework and MSMQ components to modern services.
Work with both relational and NoSQL databases.
Participate in architecture and design reviews.
Apply Domain-Driven Design and clean code principles.
Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

What we’re looking for
8+ years of backend development experience.
Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
Kafka and RabbitMQ — mandatory.
Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
Experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Experience designing and working with APIs.
Understanding of security practices such as OAuth2, JWT, and secrets management.
Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
Experience with testing, clean code, and continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
Ability and willingness to mentor other developers.

Nice to have
AWS — ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch.
MassTransit or similar orchestration libraries.
Experience with infrastructure and cloud-native systems.
MSMQ and legacy system migration experience.
CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
JavaScript/React for cross-layer collaboration.
