GSS Tech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Node.js, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain technologies to join its growing team in Dubai, UAE. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build high-availability backend services for enterprise fintech applications.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into backend systems and financial workflows.
- Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts for blockchain and digital asset applications.
- Contribute to blockchain architecture, digital asset infrastructure, and protocol development.
- Develop and optimize distributed microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Work with Kafka, message queues, and asynchronous processing systems.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Collaborate within Agile development teams across cross-functional projects.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Node.js and JavaScript development in production environments.
- Minimum 1 year of TypeScript experience.
- Proven experience integrating AI and Machine Learning into production applications.
- Hands-on blockchain development experience, including smart contracts, digital assets, and cryptocurrency protocols.
- Banking, fintech, or financial services experience is strongly preferred.
