Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale high-performance backend services using Java.
• Lead and contribute to system architecture and design discussions, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit + integration tests).
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to ship high-quality features.
• Take end-to-end ownership of critical modules and systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and help establish engineering best practices.
• Drive adoption of AI tools and workflows to improve productivity and product capabilities.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in backend development with Java.
• Proven ability to design and scale distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments (startup experience is a plus).
• High ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects independently.
• Passion for learning and leveraging AI in development workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
