Senior Software Engineer (Oracle Fusion Middleware - ADF / ESB)

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer who is strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle ESB, and Oracle ADF/WebCenter Portal, together with proven experience working on large-scale enterprise applications and Agile Scrum projects.

  • Design, develop, document, implement, and maintain end-to-end, highly scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE and Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
  • Design and develop applications using Java 1.8, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful Web Services.
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise portal applications using Oracle ADF and Oracle WebCenter Portal.
  • Design and implement enterprise application integrations using Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle ESB, including service orchestration, routing, transformation, and system integration.
  • Work across both legacy J2EE technologies such as Struts, JSP, Servlets, and EJB, and modern Spring Boot/microservices architectures.
  • Design and develop robust backend solutions using Oracle Database, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
  • Perform database design, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design and execute data migration and integration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, migration, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and execute automated test scripts using HATS or equivalent testing tools, and support integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, middleware, integration, database, and production issues, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Participate in solution architecture and technical design activities, providing recommendations for scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, enterprise architecture principles, security practices, and development best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical specifications, solution design documents, architecture documentation, deployment guides, and operational documentation.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, testers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Work effectively within Agile/Scrum methodology, participate in Scrum ceremonies, support releases and production deployments, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to development team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • min 9+ years of experience, preferably on large-scale enterprise or government/statutory-board applications.
  • min 7 years of experience in Oracle ADF / Oracle WebCenter Portal.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle ESB.
  • min 5 years of experience with Java 1.8, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful Services.
  • min 5 years of experience with Struts 1.1, JSP, Servlets, and EJB.
  • Strong Oracle/PL-SQL backend development experience.
  • Experience with automated testing, data migration, enterprise integration, and production support.
  • Proven experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
  • Strong experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
