ARQ (formerly DolarApp), a fintech, is hiring a Senior Platform Software Engineer in London to build secure, highly available cloud infrastructure: infrastructure-as-code libraries, multi-region deployments, CI/CD and GitOps workflows, and monitoring. Stack includes Kubernetes, Terraform/Pulumi/CDK, and TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Java.
You will design and implement secure, highly available infrastructure and reusable infrastructure-as-code libraries. You will troubleshoot platform issues, coordinate multi-region deployments, improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows, and enhance monitoring and alerting.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, highly available infrastructure
- Build shared infrastructure-as-code libraries, CLI tools, and engineering patterns
- Analyze and debug infrastructure issues
- Execute infrastructure-change rollout strategies
- Orchestrate multi-region infrastructure and deployments
- Build and optimize CI infrastructure and reusable pipeline templates
- Implement GitOps deployment workflows
- Improve monitoring and alerting
