Senior Software Engineer (Platform team)

Sysdig is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate identity and account services—authentication, authorization, and user/team directory—used by all engineering teams. You will create scalable, highly available platform services and own onboarding for connecting cloud provider accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).

A remote-first team collaborates closely with Product, Frontend, Design, and QE. We value 5+ years of distributed systems experience, strong Go or Java skills, and

Design, build and operate identity and access services (auth, authorization, user/team directory). Build scalable, distributed platform services used by multiple teams. Maintain cross-product capabilities: automations, analytics, ticketing integration. Own onboarding for connecting cloud provider accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI). Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent issues. 5+ years as a Software Engineer building distributed, highly available services. Strong proficiency in Go or Java; hands-on with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and messaging (NATS). Experience with AI coding agents (Claude) and leveraging them to improve workflows.
