Job Description
Role Overview
This is a senior-level position requiring the job incumbent to have a solid knowledge of executing technical product vision and bringing to life pixel-perfect yet performant web applications. You will be responsible for writing and producing well-structured code, and leading mid-level, junior, and intern developers by example.
Responsibilities
- Designing, coding, integrating, and debugging applications
- Adherence to standards and best practices (e.g. source code control, code reviews, etc.)
- Conduct performance analysis, improvement, usability, and automation testing
- Assist other developers where needed, and lead the efforts in resolving technical challenges
- Interact with Product Managers frequently, provide feedback on progress, inform them of potential risks timely and help them develop a technical product strategy to avoid such risks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience, of which 2 years must be in NodeJS and ReactJS (Full Stack)
- Knowledge of engineering tools, applications, and general programming languages
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Ability to interact effectively with clients/customers, product managers, and other developers
- Good analytical skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
Nice-to-haves
- Good experience working with AWS
- Strong knowledge and experience with Next.js or Gatsby
- Experience with React Native
- History of contributions to open-source projects
