Compensation: $130-$140K Base + Benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a senior software engineer to help modernize our restaurant technology platform by designing and building scalable, cloud-native solutions across our POS and back‑office ecosystem. This senior individual contributor will develop secure, high‑performance systems supporting restaurant operations, inventory modernization, and intelligent automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable POS and back‑office integration services.
- Build cloud‑native APIs and distributed microservices on AWS.
- Develop secure, PCI‑compliant transaction processing solutions.
- Modernize inventory and item master management.
- Create reusable integrations across POS, kitchen, and enterprise systems.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver business‑driven technology solutions.
- Leverage AI and automation to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Restaurant POS, Retail, Hospitality, or Store Technology.
- Expertise in Python, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud‑native application development.
- Experience building high‑availability, low‑latency transactional systems.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and production support.
- Experience working in PCI‑compliant or regulated environments.
- Experience with AI/Generative AI is a plus.
