Senior Software Engineer Python AWS Front Office
Summary
This role involves designing and developing high-performance trading systems and cloud infrastructure within a front office environment using Python and AWS. The engineer will own the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle and support critical trading systems.
Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements:- Advanced backend Python development skills
- Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps practices, CI/CD and containerisation
- Comfortable with occasional front-end work
- Experience owning the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle
- Experience working in front office trading environments
- Pragmatic with strong communication skills
- Design, develop and enhance high-performance trading systems and cloud infrastructure
- Support critical front, middle and back office operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate complex requirements into scalable, resilient technology
- Lead projects from design through to deployment
- Build secure, highly available systems capable of handling large volumes of market and trading data
- Champion engineering best practices, automation, DevOps and cloud architecture
