Senior Software Engineer building and maintaining reporting applications that combine backend, data engineering, and frontend work: Python and SQL/T-SQL ETL workflows on Snowflake/Databricks orchestrated with Airflow, plus JavaScript/React UIs. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain reporting applications combining backend development, data engineering, database technologies, and frontend solutions. The role focuses on building reliable data workflows and intuitive reporting tools using Python, SQL, and React. Experience with C#/.NET is an advantage.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Python programming skills and advanced SQL knowledge, including T-SQL.
- Experience with ETL, data transformation, integration, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks and Apache Airflow.
- Frontend development experience with JavaScript and React.
- Experience building and maintaining end-to-end applications.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of data quality, numerical accuracy, and system reliability.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with C#/.NET and existing application maintenance.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, business intelligence, or analytical systems.
- Experience with financial calculations, data controls, and legacy system modernization.
