About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a cutting-edge AI/LLM project, combining software engineering with data evaluation and quality processes for AI models.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript/Golang, along with hands-on experience with preference data, rubric creation, or data/model evaluation.
What You’ll Do
- Design, refine, and improve rubrics and evaluation criteria for preference data.
- Review and evaluate data while maintaining a high quality bar.
- Build and maintain pipelines and infrastructure supporting data generation, collection, and evaluation.
- Identify subtle issues and ensure high-quality data.
- Turn technical findings into clear documentation, recommendations, and updates.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to turn qualitative judgment into scalable processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Python, particularly pipelines and infrastructure, or TypeScript / JavaScript / Golang.
- Hands-on experience with preference data and/or rubric creation.
- Experience working with large codebases is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical work clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to quality and detail.
- Experience at Tier 1 technology companies and/or universities is preferred.
