Senior Software Engineer - Quality Control
Responsibilities and Duties:
Participate in all agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Prepare and configure test environments, both fresh installs and upgraded versions.
Analyse user stories and requirements to define both the main and regression test scope.
Create new or update existing OQs and test cases based on the defined test scope, covering both functional scenarios (positive and negative) and non-functional scenarios, such as performance.
Automate and execute test cases where applicable.
Create IQs and execute them as outlined in the IQ Protocol.
Execute OQs and test cases as outlined in the OQ Protocol.
Report and track defects and perform re-testing after fixes are applied.
Classify defects in collaboration with developers and PMs, following the Defect Management Process.
Define the validation test scope based on the risk.
Review OQs and test cases prepared by peers.
Review created IQs/Release Notes.
Mentor and train new members.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related field
4-5 Years of experience in related field
