Senior Software Engineer Quality Engineering SDET

You will work as an SDET software engineer on either the fully on-chain Strium exchange or the Startale App. You will define quality and release standards, build scalable end-to-end automation, validate trading and API behavior, modernize testing infrastructure, run performance tests, and establish reproducible test environments and data.

Responsibilities

• Define quality standards, release criteria, and quality metrics
• Design, build, and operate scalable end-to-end automated testing frameworks
• Validate execution paths, price impact, fee calculations, and user paths for Strium
• Modernize, optimize, and expand the existing end-to-end testing infrastructure for Startale App
• Test API responses and consistency with frontend behavior
• Conduct API load and stress testing for high-throughput systems
• Design reproducible testing environments and test data
• Define testable acceptance criteria with engineering and product teams
• Build automated tests through CI/CD
• Use AI for test generation, development workflows, and test maintenance

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Advanced English proficiency
• Write production-quality software
• Build scalable automated test frameworks and reusable test libraries from scratch
• Have 5+ years of experience in SDET, quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering
• Have practical experience with Playwright, Cypress, REST, JSON-RPC, or WebSocket testing
• Have experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Have experience with Docker and containerized testing environments
• Have experience testing complex distributed systems, fintech, or financial products
• Work autonomously as the sole QA or SDET for a product or team
• Learn and adopt unfamiliar domains quickly
• Blockchain experience is not required
