Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as a senior engineer who designs and delivers full-stack features from start to finish while helping establish quality standards for a growing engineering group. The position carries broad ownership of technical choices and close partnership with company leadership.

What you'll do

- Design and build full-stack features spanning the web user interface and the backend services.

- Own database schema changes, migrations and data backfills, planning releases so they can be deployed safely.

- Help define how the team reviews designs, handles production issues, documents procedures and monitors systems.

- Coach teammates by giving thoughtful feedback on their code and technical direction.

- Partner with the founders to weigh product priorities against engineering constraints.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

- Background at a large, well-known technology company or a venture-backed startup.

- Strong full-stack development skills with proficiency in TypeScript, leaning toward backend work.

- Comfort working autonomously in an environment where accuracy and reliability matter.

Bonus points

- Degree from a highly ranked computer science program.

- Experience at an early-stage startup.

- Experience building data pipelines at scale.

- Proficiency with Node.js or React.

- Experience with event-driven workflow tools.

- Base salary: USD 210,000 to 240,000 per year
