Senior Software Engineer React Native

You will design, build, and maintain scalable React Native applications for iOS and Android. You will lead mobile architecture and shared-code decisions, develop reusable components and platform-agnostic services, optimize application performance, and integrate native modules when needed. You will establish coding, testing, and CI/CD practices; build and manage monorepo tooling; create E2E test infrastructure; collaborate with product, design, web, backend, QA, and project teams; and mentor developers through technical guidance and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Implement mobile-development best practices, including code review, testing, and CI/CD
• Build scalable, maintainable features within the existing application architecture
• Collaborate with product and design teams to implement technical solutions that meet business goals
• Integrate mini-apps and virtual currency systems with the Xsolla App ecosystem
• Work with developers, QA engineers, and project managers
• Participate in technical discussions aligned with business objectives
• Communicate across distributed teams
• Deliver high-quality features throughout the development lifecycle
• Design and implement scalable React Native application architecture
• Lead shared-code architecture decisions across React web and React Native mobile platforms
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, and mobile-development best practices
• Create technical specifications and architecture documentation
• Build and maintain monorepo infrastructure
• Configure build pipelines, dependency management, and workspace configurations
• Implement caching strategies and incremental builds for CI/CD performance
• Manage package versioning, publishing, and dependencies
• Design and develop a shared component library for React and React Native
• Create platform-agnostic business logic, utilities, and services
• Implement adaptive components with platform-specific implementations
• Establish cross-platform patterns for type definitions, hooks, contexts, and state management
• Build tooling and documentation for shared code
• Implement responsive user interfaces aligned with design specifications
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, and startup time
• Integrate native modules when React Native APIs are insufficient
• Design and implement E2E testing strategies
• Create maintainable test suites across iOS and Android
• Configure E2E tests in CI/CD pipelines
• Build test infrastructure for critical flows, edge cases, and platform-specific behavior
• Implement visual regression and snapshot testing where appropriate
• Define testing standards and best practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Conduct architecture- and maintainability-focused code reviews
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver cohesive user experiences

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile application development experience with a strong focus on React Native
• Proven track record of delivering commercial mobile applications from concept to launch
• Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and state management
• Experience with third-party integrations and APIs
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of native modules using Swift or Kotlin is a plus
• Familiarity with gaming ecosystems and virtual currency platforms is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
