Summary
Senior Software Engineer building secure, scalable applications in Agile/Scrum teams — full-stack work across TypeScript (Angular/React/Next.js), C#, or Java, with REST APIs, microservices, SQL databases, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices. Requires 5+ years of development experience.
Mandatory Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience);
Minimum 5 years of software development experience;
Proficiency in one or more technologies such as TypeScript (Angular/React/Next.js), C#, or Java;
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and object-oriented programming (OOP);
Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle);
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), secure coding, and software maintenance;
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with technical ownership or leadership responsibilities;
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, automated testing, and code reviews;
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
Exposure to cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices;
Experience defining unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies;
Knowledge of software architecture, systems design, and engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
Build secure, scalable, and high-quality software features aligned with sprint priorities;
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle;
Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and implementation plans;
Develop and maintain front-end applications, back-end services, APIs, and software components;
Support Proof of Concept (POC) and Initial Operations Capability (IOC) initiatives;
Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests;
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
Troubleshoot software issues, resolve defects, and provide post-deployment support;
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices;
Analyse existing applications and recommend scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions;
Collaborate with architects, product managers, designers, and stakeholders on technical decisions;
Estimate effort, identify technical risks, and contribute to successful project delivery;
Mentor team members, lead assigned workstreams, and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.
