# Senior Software Engineer ## Company Overview It is an AI powered company. ## Job Summary We are seeking a results-oriented, self-motivated, and pragmatic Senior Software Engineer. This role is dedicated to building highly scalable, user-friendly web applications that empower small businesses to grow. As part of the Relationship/Retention team, you will contribute to developing tools and workflows that enhance relationship management and generate referrals, thereby providing additional value to our members. ## Responsibilities - Take ownership of significant features from concept to production while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. - Act as a go-to technical voice on the team, contributing to architectural decisions, technical discussions, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities. - Use data to drive rapid testing and iteration, ensuring deep involvement in feature and technical decisions. - Design and iterate on AI-powered features using structured evaluation frameworks and build feedback loops that enhance AI systems by leveraging user behavior and experimentation. - Contribute to the development of scalable infrastructure for Large Language Models (LLMs) and define quality standards for AI outputs. - Engage directly with small business members through calls, site observation, and by collaborating with the customer success team to understand their challenges. ## Qualifications - 4–7 years of experience as a full-stack software developer, with required expertise in React.js and a strong plus for Ruby or Elixir. - Hands-on experience in building or integrating LLM-powered features into production systems, including prompt engineering and retrieval pipelines. - Proven experience in designing structured LLM evaluation frameworks and improving model performance over time. - Familiarity with building and operating LLM infrastructure at scale, with an emphasis on observability and reliability. - Experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Strong oral and written communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience with Agile/Scrum software development practices. - Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a dynamic environment, fostering collaboration within a diverse team. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with deployment pipelines using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. - Familiarity with observability, versioning, and reliability patterns in software development. ## Experience - Minimum of 4 years and maximum of 7 years in full stack software development. ## Environment - The role is expected to be a collaborative and Agile environment, fostering close interactions between engineering, design, product management, and other business partners. ## Salary - Not specified. ## Growth Opportunities - Opportunities for career advancement within the engineering team and potential leadership positions. ## Benefits - It is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging applicants from diverse backgrounds, and offers a comprehensive benefits package, though specific benefits have not been detailed.
