Senior Software Engineer

• Design, develop, test, and deliver full-stack web applications supporting customer sales and
• Implement new features and production fixes using NodeJS, React (TypeScript), and modern frameworks such as NextJS and NestJS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards and IT policies.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services following microservices principles.

Architecture & Engineering Standards

• Build and enhance cloud-native, microservices-based solutions, including event-driven and
• Design and consume event-driven services using messaging or streaming platforms (Kafka,
• Apply API-first and contract-driven development practices aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design loosely coupled, resilient, and scalable services using fault-tolerance and reliability patterns.
• Contribute to reusable components and shared engineering standards.

Testing, DevOps & Cloud

• Implement unit testing, TDD, and BDD using Jest, Jasmine, and JUnit.
• Use build tools such as Maven, npm, and yarn.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments on Azure.
• Use Docker and gain exposure to Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Work closely with business users, architects, and engineers to deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of experience in web application development and support.
• Strong expertise in NextJS, NodeJS, and React (TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of microservices and RESTful API design.
• Experience or exposure to event-driven architectures.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of secure application and API development.
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience with NestJS and NextJS.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud observability and monitoring tools.
• Experience in insurance or financial services.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proven collaboration and delivery skills.
• Strong commitment to code quality and engineering best practices.
