Senior Software Engineer
Summary
The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop Java-based microservices and data ingestion pipelines within an Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem. The role involves building scalable APIs, managing containerized deployments, and participating in Agile development processes.
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Build Java-based data ingestion and processing services.
- Develop APIs and microservices.
- Troubleshoot performance issues across the full stack.
- Work within an Identity and Access Management ecosystem.
- Attend Agile standup to provide progress on the task
- Design and develop applications to accomplish IAM related business objectives.
- Be curious, highlight risk and come with solutions to problems.
- Stay actively engaged with team members in meetings and brain storming sessions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- CI/CD, APIs, Gitlab
- Proven experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines and data processing frameworks.
- Experience handling large-scale and complex data transformation, correlation, and enrichment logic.
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience with containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, automated testing, and deployment practices.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs with security and scalability best practices.
