Senior Software Engineer (Support/Maintenance)

We are hiring Senior Software Engineers (Support & Maintenance) to join a global technology organisation supporting a wide variety of internal applications that consists of legacy systems built over the past 20+ years to modern platforms. This is a hands-on and problem-solving role where your engineering skills will multiply as you start mastering system after system.

Key responsibilities

Support and maintain a wide range of internal applications which includes legacy and in-house systems. Troubleshoot, fix bugs and implement upgrades while learning each system's framework Writing code mainly using Java and C++ Follow Jira workflows for ticketing, prioritization, and system updates. Continuously learn by supporting and maintaining each system to steadily build mastery.

What we are looking for

Strong coding skills in Java and C++ and exposure to other languages would be a plus. Willingness and curiosity to learn legacy systems and tackle complex troubleshooting challenges. Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Independent, proactive and able to prioritise tasks effectively within the team. Experience with Jira or ticketing systems would be valuable. A stable work history is critical for this role.
