Senior Software Engineer providing SETA support to the DoD in Hanover, MD: designing, developing, and installing software solutions compliant with DoD coding standards, and supporting software testing and certification. Requires 10+ years of DoD software engineering experience and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop and install software solutions.
Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with DOD coding standards and technical design.
Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications.
Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a software engineer within the DoD environment (2 years of industry experience may be substituted for 1 year of DoD experience up to 6 years). 1 year of post-secondary education may be substituted for 1 year of experience
Degree in (Preferred): Master’s degree (preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Programming).
SECURITY CLEARANCE
· Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required (CI Poly may be required)
TRAVEL
· Some travel may be required.
