We’re working with an established technology company building a small, highly experienced engineering team in Gothenburg.
This is a hands-on C++ software engineering role for someone who enjoys building production software, solving technically challenging problems and having genuine ownership over what they create.
You’ll be developing high-performance C++ software for a global product, working close to the underlying technology and tackling challenges around performance, networking, reliability and systems programming.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop and ship production C++ software
- Build new functionality across a complex global product
- Work on high-performance and systems-level software
- Solve challenging problems around networking, performance and reliability
- Profile, debug and optimise C++ applications
- Work with Linux and low-level systems
- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
- Take ownership of problems from initial idea through to production
What we're looking for
- Solid software engineering fundamentals
- Experience building and shipping production software
- Experience or interest in systems, networking or performance-focused software
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Someone who enjoys taking technical ownership and working independently
We're primarily looking for a strong C++ software engineer who enjoys working close to the technology and wants to solve genuinely interesting engineering problems.
Experience with any of the following is a bonus:
- Networking protocols
- Network programming

- Rust or Go
