Job Description
We have a strong opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team in Fidelity Ireland’s Asset Management Technology group. The team designs, builds, and supports software for the High Income Alternatives area. Most of our systems are built and run on AWS.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who cares about writing good‑quality software. You should be comfortable writing clear, testable, and easy‑to‑maintain code.
- Strong experience with Java‑based backend systems, messaging, and web frameworks such as Spring Boot and Kafka.
- React / Typescript / Angular and state management tools like NGRX.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Good understanding of how to design systems that can scale and perform well.
- Solid experience with object‑oriented programming concepts.
Purpose of Your Role
In this role you will write and maintain production code, work closely with other engineers and business partners, and turn user stories and use cases into working software that supports Fidelity’s business goals. You will think through problems and suggest practical solutions.
