Senior Software Engineer

Open 15d

Summary

Build and own full-stack .NET and Angular applications, modernize Azure cloud infrastructure, and lead CI/CD pipelines to support global negotiation consultancy operations.

The Gap Partnership is the world's leading negotiation consultancy, helping organisations create sustainable competitive advantage through improved commercial performance, stronger stakeholder alignment and more effective decision-making.

For more than 25 years, we have partnered with many of the world's largest organisations across consumer goods, retail, healthcare, technology, industrials and professional services. We work with executive teams to solve complex commercial challenges, drive organisational change and deliver measurable business impact.

Our technology plays an increasingly important role in how we deliver that impact, and we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help drive the next stage of our evolution.

This is not a role where you'll be a small cog in a large development machine. You'll join a highly collaborative technology team where engineers have genuine ownership across the full software lifecycle, from architecture and development through to cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security and production support.

We're investing heavily in technology, automation and AI, and you'll play a key role in shaping the platforms that support our consultants, clients and business operations globally.

Responsibilities

You'll design, build and enhance business-critical applications across our .NET and Angular technology stack while helping to modernise and future-proof our technology landscape.

  • Develop and deliver new features across backend and frontend application
  • Own software solutions from concept through to deployment and support
  • Manage and improve Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
  • Create automated testing and deployment processes
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy
  • Support the adoption of AI-powered development and emerging technologies
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to solve real business challenges
  • Act as a technical leader within a close-knit engineering team

Requirements

You'll bring strong full-stack engineering experience and be comfortable balancing software development with infrastructure and operational ownership.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
  • C# / .NET 6+
  • Angular and TypeScript
  • SQL Server and REST APIs
  • Microsoft Azure
  • GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps
  • CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
  • Cloud security and modern engineering practices
  • AI coding assistants and emerging AI technologies

Experience integrating LLMs, agentic workflows or MCP servers would be a distinct advantage.

Benefits

We've built a reputation as the world's leading negotiation consultancy by challenging conventional thinking, investing in innovation and continually pushing ourselves to be better.

When you join us, you'll be part of a business that has:
  • Competitive salary
  • Private medical insurance, Life Insurance, Company Pension and Wellbeing benefits
  • Global, with offices across Europe, North America and Asia
  • Hybrid flexible working
  • Entrepreneurial, agile and ambitious
  • Invested in innovation, technology and AI
  • Collaborative, supportive and people-focused
  • Committed to professional development and growth

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact. Your work won't disappear into a backlog. The solutions you build will directly influence how our business operates and how we continue to deliver exceptional value to clients around the world.
