Senior Software Engineer – Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise and a passion for building high-quality systems. In this role, you will take technical ownership of our Equity post-trade platform, driving architecture, modernization, and delivering robust solutions in a complex domain.
What You’ll Do
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to production
- Design, build, and implement solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs, and microservices
- Drive modernization of legacy, database-heavy systems into modular, maintainable architectures
- Contribute directly to architecture and design decisions with a strong engineering mindset
- Define and execute technical solutions aligned with product and business needs
- Write clean, efficient, and production-grade code with focus on performance and scalability
- Take ownership of problem-solving in a complex, high-impact domain
- Work effectively in a distributed setup across locations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, and microservices architecture
- Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems and refactoring monolithic applications
- Solid understanding of system design and building scalable, resilient solutions
- Hands-on engineer with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions forward
- Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
Nice to Have
- Experience in Capital Markets or Equity post-trade systems
- Understanding of equity trading workflows
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures
- Background in product-driven engineering environments
