You lead the design and development of high-performance real-time data applications for trading, drive scalable data solutions, lead Agile projects, collaborate with product and engineering partners, uphold code and data-management standards, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-performance real-time data applications
- Use AI coding tools in daily engineering workflows
- Drive innovative data solutions at scale
- Lead Agile projects and ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, QA engineers, and infrastructure engineers
- Uphold code quality, performance optimization, and data-management practices
- Mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in the big data domain
- Experience solving complex data challenges
- Expertise in semi-structured data
- Experience with data processing pipelines
- Experience with data modeling
- Experience with OLAP solutions
- STEM education background
- Logical thinking
- Problem-solving
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Experience with search and recommendation systems
- Familiarity with PolarDB, TiDB, StarRocks, or ClickHouse
