Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend expertise who can independently design, build, and deliver high-quality features across the stack. You will play a key role in shaping implementation decisions, improving engineering standards, and mentoring junior engineers. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning problems end-to-end and working closely with product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems.
• Build scalable, maintainable frontend applications using React.js .
• Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using Node.js .
• Own feature delivery from requirements clarification to production release.
• Make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.
• Review code from peers and raise the overall quality bar.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinicians to refine requirements.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and reliability best practices, especially for healthcare data.
• Actively contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and standards.
• Use modern developer tooling, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve productivity while maintaining high standards of code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS.
• Solid experience with React.js and modern frontend patterns.
• Solid experience with Node.js and RESTful API design.
• Experience working with databases, including SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of software design principles, performance optimization, and error handling and observability.
• Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with Git-based workflows and code reviews.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Ability to debug complex issues across the stack.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated sound judgment in leveraging AI-assisted tools, knowing when to use them and when not to.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native systems.
• Exposure to healthcare, medical devices, or regulated domains.
• Experience designing APIs or systems consumed at scale.
