Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team building and improving digital products and services. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the stack and enjoys solving problems collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack web and/or mobile applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.

• Work with product, design and engineering teams to turn requirements and ideas into practical technical solutions.

• Design and develop APIs and integrations with cloud services and external systems.

• Contribute to technical solutioning and system design, considering scalability, performance, security and maintainability.

• Work with QA and DevOps teams to support automated testing, CI/CD and reliable deployments.

• Review code, troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to improving engineering practices.

• Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to other engineers.

• Keep technical designs and relevant documentation clear and up to date.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Good experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js or similar.

• Experience in backend development using Node.js, NestJS, Express or similar technologies.

• Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs and databases.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms, automated testing, CI/CD and Git.

• Good understanding of software engineering principles, including system design, security, scalability and application performance.

• Able to work through problems independently while collaborating effectively and sharing knowledge with the team.
