Senior Software Engineer

You'll join a true product team with large ownership scope, working with cutting-edge technologies where Go is the primary language — no legacy codebase to worry about. You'll focus on improving the reliability of the API and deliver fast and often, embracing an agile methodology with a retrospective and demo at the end of each two-week cycle. You'll design, build and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems using a microservice architecture powered by Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

  • Make an impact in a product team with a large ownership scope
  • Work with Go as the primary language
  • Improve the reliability of the API
  • Deliver fast and often using an agile methodology with two-week cycles
  • Design, build and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems
  • Work with a microservice architecture powered by Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and PostgreSQL

Requirements

  • Experience with investment products or the fintech domain
  • Experience in event-driven architectures, event streaming, and event sourcing systems
  • Experience operating services in a decoupled, event-driven system, leveraging modern observability tooling such as monitoring and tracing
