We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade web applications across the full technology stack. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET back-end development, modern React front-end engineering, and cloud-native solutions on AWS. Key responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications.
Architect and build robust back-end services and RESTful APIs using .NET / C# and ASP.NET Core.
Develop responsive, component-based front-end interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Design and deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
Define and enforce architectural patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices across the team.
Design and optimise relational database schemas, queries, and data access layers using SQL.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
Lead code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and support the professional growth of junior engineers.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure application quality through automated testing, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
About you
.NET / C#: Deep, hands-on experience building enterprise back-end services and APIs with .NET / C# and ASP.NET Core.
React.js: Strong experience building modern, responsive, component-based user interfaces; solid grasp of state management and JavaScript/TypeScript.
AWS: Proven experience designing and operating cloud-native solutions on AWS (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
RESTful APIs: Demonstrated expertise designing, building, securing, and integrating REST APIs.
SQL: Strong database development skills — schema design, query optimisation, and data modelling.
CI/CD: Practical experience building and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
Version Control: Proficient with Git-based workflows — branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
Architecture: Experience designing scalable, distributed, and maintainable application architectures.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
7+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with demonstrable seniority.
