Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – C2 / C4I & Air Defense Systems
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software solutions for Command and Control (C2), C4I, and Air Defense systems. The role involves developing secure, high-quality software, supporting system integration and testing, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test software components using Java and/or C++.
- Integrate software with sensors, data links, and external systems.
- Develop automated tests and support CI/CD processes.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot defects and support system acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–7 years of software development experience, including 2–3 years in Defense, C2/C4I, Air Defense, or other mission-critical systems.
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++.
- Experience with system integration, networking protocols, databases, and software testing.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
